Talking With Strangers: Do I Belong Here? (And Who Decided?)

$27.00

A conversation about identity, confidence, and the quiet courage of showing up.

Monday, March 30th
Waterworks Food Hall - 50 Brant Street (Toronto, ON)
Doors 6:30pm - 9:30pm-ish

About The Series

Our newest series takes us beyond the table and into the city; Talking With Strangers brings candid conversations to unexpected places, amplifying voices, stories, and perspectives that remind us of our shared humanity.

Think: part-panel, part social experiment: hear bold stories from local creators, dreamers, and doers, and swap stories with fellow strangers, jumping into groups that skip small talk and get right to the good stuff.

We’re creating a space to spark connection and remind us we’re all figuring it out together. Come curious, leave with new friends (and maybe a story or two you’ll be telling for weeks).

What to Expect

Cocktail Hour (starts at 6:30pm!)

Grab a drink and some snacks settle in, and ease into the night with playful icebreaker prompts - Grapewitches will be running the bar, and you can bring food in from the food hall!

Conversations with our featured guest

This month, our special guest is Raia ‘Coach’ Carey — as a 3x Certified Life Coach, speaker, and EDI consulant, Coach Carey is passionate about encouraging others to tap into the confidence they never knew they had. After overcoming various hardships, she was able to transform her mindset and begin a career that empowers others to do the same.
